Badge legend

Badges are reading indicators for the registry. They are not a certification, a compliance guarantee or proof of digital sovereignty.

Belgium
EU

European Union. Main jurisdiction located in the European Union, to be checked against hosting, subcontractors and actual integrations.

EEA

European Economic Area. Jurisdiction connected to the EEA framework, generally closer to the European framework than an extra-EEA dependency.

Extra-EEA

Outside the EEA. Indicator of a dependency located outside the European Economic Area, to be assessed in its legal and contractual context.

CLOUD Act

Likely U.S. exposure. Vigilance signal linked to a provider or jurisdiction potentially subject to a U.S. extraterritorial framework.

Open source

Open code. Software or component whose code is publicly available. This does not by itself qualify hosting or service governance.

Self-hostable

Controllable deployment. Solution that can be hosted on a chosen infrastructure, subject to skills, configuration and maintenance.

EU institution

European institutional ecosystem. Domain or service attached to an official European Union institution or structure.

To be qualified

Incomplete information. Entry kept cautious when a jurisdiction, qualification or actual usage still needs to be checked.
